MoMo Camp is dedicated to cultivating a strong sense of self, a deep appreciation for Korean heritage, and a global mindset in our campers.
Through immersive experiences, cultural exploration, and collaborative activities, we empower children to develop confidence in their identity, pride in their roots, and a broader perspective on the world.
At MoMo Camp, we embrace an inclusive definition of Korean heritage that extends beyond ancestry alone. We define people of Korean heritage as those who have inherited a connection to Korean culture through:
Ancestry: A familial link to Korea’s rich traditions and history.
Citizenship: A national or legal connection to Korea.
Korean "Jeong" (정): The deep sense of emotional bond and shared cultural identity that transcends borders.
We celebrate and welcome all who feel a connection to Korean culture, values, and community, fostering a space where this heritage can be explored, strengthened, and passed on.
Health
Our active and interactive programs keep campers moving and engaged. Every camper plays team sports, goes for hikes, and interacts with other campers in a supportive environment.
Imagination
Imagination paves the way for creativity and empathy. “Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere,” according to Albert Einstein. Our program is designed to help campers come out of their comfort zone and let their mind roam free.
Teamwork
Every camper is a member of three teams - a sports team, a project team, and, most importantly, the Tribe. Teams and Tribes work to achieve a collective goal. Each child learns that wonderful things can be achieved through collaboration!
